WHAT COLOR IS IT????

We're on week 2 of Heidi's cast.  She's getting very good at doing everything with her left hand....eating, writing, brushing her hair.  The biggest benefit for her is that she can't practice the piano....and she's taking FULL advantage of that! 

Many of you voted for what color cast she should get....we'll let you figure it out by the pictures:

Is it pink?  It looks pink....

But wait.....

Heidi made a special request for "two toned".  Since she and the doctor are now fast friends (3rd time breaking an arm), Dr. Dechet was happy to oblige.  Heidi is also her guinea pig for a new waterproof liner.  Since Heidi's had experience with the old waterproof liner, Dr. Dechet wants to know which one she likes better.

Heidi's NOT happy that it goes up her arm covering her elbow, but the break was pretty bad.  She can't get her fingers to her mouth---do you know how frustrating it is to try and lick your fingers but your fingers don't quite make it to your mouth?!?!

She has 2 more weeks in this cast and then we get more X-rays to see how it's healing.  She'll either get a short cast on or just a brace.  We're hoping for the brace.

Heidi's been a trooper and hasn't let her cast slow her down---she now has a weapon to use against Fanny when he annoys her!  Look out everyone!
