I LOVE IT!

Thanks to Meg, we are in business.  Begin posting now.  Report any Provident Living progress on the blog.  Let us know what is going on in your life.  How is school, sports, music, dance, family, friends, life!
Here is a question?  Who can answer it....
Who was the first prophet to teach Provident Living?
Have a happy day laboring!

  1. Last night we went to Smiths to get our flu shots.
They did not have them at the Urgent Care and sent us to the Pharmacy
    BIG MISTAKE!
First we filled out forms then waited....and waited.....and waited! Finally the man came out to ask which arm we wanted them in....(like it mattered)
And then we waited.....and waited.....and waited!
Finally the pharmacist came for us....a young girl, who looked rather nervous and acted more so!
It took her a minute or two to get the band aid ready and find the needle. Finally she was ready.....swabbed the left arm and began to insert the needle. She winced as it went in...slowly and methodically while she was lamented about how she hated these needles -- they sent the wrong kind -- she liked the others so much better.
The minute she was finished she began..
"Do you feel faint, are you nauseated, do you feel dizzy, sit down if you need to, when I had my shot I almost passed out! Breath deeply and move slowly"
By the time she had finished, she was beginning to make me feel sick!.
I had to help her get the cap back on the needle so she could dispose of it!
Richard was next -- same routine! Slowly shove it in while she is wincing -- anxious questions about his general health.
She was much worse than the shot.
Moral of the story -- have your flu shot by a nurse or phebotomist -- not a pharmacist! But have it!!!

  2. Oooh! Makes me want to rush right out there and get my flu shot! Daniel's the only one in our fam that already got his. I took him in last week for his stomach pains (maybe he was laughing too hard also?!). They basically told him it wasn't anything to worry about, but while he was there, did he want to get some shots? 3 immunizations later, we left. Gotta love doctors!

  5. I just realized I put this under angie shmos post so here you go you can read it twice if you would really like...

So grandmamas flu shot post was quite the challenge!!! Lots of points for trying but wow!!!! Megan please get down there and help here ASAP!! :) She did it originally as a comment to her first post - "I LOVE IT". Then she couldn't figure out where it had gone. After quite awhile on the phone with her (I couldn't figure out what she was talking about) we finally figured out that it had shown up as a comment because she was not signed in properly to post... We were just greatful that it didn't post on her "Movin Up" blog which was a big fear for awhile there! We love you Mother!!!!!!

  7. Oh wow! Ok the gmoof has done a number here!!! Angie shmo... I think it is posting the comments under that first post cause she copied and pasted it once we figured out where her post had gone. So when she copied and pasted she copied the "post a comment box" also. so you have to make sure you keep going down to the real comment line for that post!!!
